Press Release EYE MEETS I:
Oct 23, 2009. This was about a project with artist Bradley Pitts. We presented an elliptical mirror bringing observers back to the CYCLOPS experience. In this mirror your left eye sees you right eye, and vice versa, wherever you look, meaning that your own "big brother" eye constantly follows you.........
This inspired the journal Science (326, p777, Nov 5th 2009) to invite me for an interview which resulted in a short article. This movie is a press release demonstrating how we reacted the very first time that we saw the mirror after 2 yrs of development: You see enthousiasm but not so much scientific depth......
Film Presenter at Bessensap:
Bessensap is the yearly national meeting between science and press. It is organised by NWO and the Society for Science Journalists. Out of 113 proposals Robert Kerst and I have been invited to present a film titled "Een vliegtuig besturen met je wilskracht” on May 26th 2008. We participated in a contest for the best film and ours was ranked among the best three.
